Wrapping Text to a Shape or Path
You can wrap text to a shape or path.
To Wrap Text to a Shape:
- Select the Selection Tool and click a text
object.

- In the Properties
bar, click the Shape button.

- In the Text Shape dialog box, select the
shape in which you want to wrap the text.

- Increase the
Pen Size to make the shape
outline bolder.
- Click OK.
To Wrap Text to a Path:
- Click the Selection Tool and click a text object.

- In the Properties
bar, click the Path button.

- In the Text Path dialog box, select the
path along which you want to wrap the text.

- Increase the
Pen Size in which to display the
path.
- Select the text direction in the bottom left of the Text Path dialog box.
- Click OK.
To Expand or Contract the Shape or Path:
- Click the Selection Tool and click the text
object.

- Click and drag an object handle to expand or contract
the shape or path.
If you expand shape or path, you may need to increase the
font size. Similarly, if you contract, you may need to
decrease the font size.
To Rotate a Shape or Path:
- Click the Selection Tool and click the text object.

- In the Properties bar, click the Rotate/Skew button.
- Click and drag a corner object handle to rotate
the text object. You can also type an angle into the Rotate
box and select Left
or Right on the Properties
Bar to rotate the text object.
- Click and drag an object handle on the top, bottom,
or side to skew the text object. You can also type an angle into the Skew box and select Horizontal
or Vertical on the Properties
Bar to skew the text object.
- In the Properties
bar, click Done.
