Sharing Images

There are several ways to share images with seedrive.acdsee.com, depending on the destination you choose. For example, you can share a direct link with individuals, or to a wider audience over social media.

To Share One or More Images from a Single Folder:

  1. On the Manage tab, open a folder.
  2. In the File pane, select the checkbox of each image you want to share.
  3. Click Share from the File pane menu and choose your sharing platform from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter information into the Share your photography dialog.
  5. Click OK.

To Share Entire Folders:

  1. On the Manage tab, right-click a folder in the Folders pane and choose Share | Email/Twitter/Widget.
  2. Enter information into the Share your photography dialog.
  3. Click OK.

Sharing Via Image Basket

The Image Basket is a temporary place to put photos from any folder. You can use it as an efficient way to share multiple photos at once.

Sharing and Keywording with the Image Basket:

  1. On the Manage tab, open a folder and do one of the following:
  2. Repeat this process for other photos in other folders.
  3. In the Image Basket, you can choose Share or Set Keywords.

Sharing Via the Share Your Photography Dialog Box

You can use the Share your photography dialog box to share your photos through Email, Twitter, and more.

Sharing Photos Over Email:

  1. In the Share your photography dialog, click the Email tab.
  2. Enter your recipient's email address in the field. To add an address your have sent images to in the past, select Add from your Address Book.
  3. Enter a message in the Message field, if desired.
  4. Select Allow download of largest available JPG to allow your recipient to download the fullsize image.
  5. Select Email me too if you would like a copy of this email.
  6. Enter a password in the Optional private access password field for extra security.
  7. Press OK.

Sharing Photos Using Twitter:

  1. In the Share your photography dialog, click the Twitter tab.
  2. Click the Twitter logo to begin.
  3. On the Twitter page, enter your name and password, and press Authorize app.

Sharing Photos Using a Widget:

  1. In the Share your photography dialog, click the Widget tab.
  2. Select an orientation for your widget.
  3. Choose a color theme for your widget.
  4. Select a size for your widget.
  5. Press Create Widget.
  6. Copy the HTML provided and paste it in your website or post.

Sharing Via Links

Sharing the Link to a Folder:

  1. On the Manage tab, in the Folders pane, right-click a public folder (displays a globe overlay icon).
  2. Choose Copy link from the drop-down menu.
  3. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+C to copy the selected link from the dialog.
  4. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+V to paste the link.
