Welcome to ACDSee Photo Studio 11
The ACDSee Photo Studio user interface provides easy access to the various tools and features you can use to browse, view and manage your image and media files. ACDSee Photo Studio consists of five modes: Manage mode, Media mode, View mode, Develop mode, and People mode.
Where to Start
For new users, the table below outlines a suggested workflow in ACDSee Photo Studio.
Manage Mode |

Start in Manage mode where you can browse through your images and determine the ones you want to keep. Start by using the suggested tools below:

Media Mode |
|
Media mode offers a streamlined, database-driven approach to Digital Asset Management. Only the folders browsed in Manage mode and those that have been cataloged into the ACDSee database will be displayed in Media mode, offering a clutter-free view of photographs and videos managed by ACDSee. |

View Mode |
|
View your images at a larger scale in View mode. Scroll through your selection with the Filmstrip and control-click thumbnails to rate them as you go along. Detect faces and manage them with the Face Detection pane. |

Develop Mode |
|
Enhance your images in Develop mode. Easy to use processing tools are organized under 4 tabs to allow you to Tune your image, adjust Detail, fix overall Geometry, and Repair red eye or blemishes. You can also use an array of AI-Powered Masking tools to help effortlessly mask anything in your photographs. |

People Mode |
|
People mode is a dedicated space for managing all images of people. People mode has three modes: Named, Unnamed, and Person. Named and Unnamed can be accessed from the Named and Unnamed buttons directly above the results grid in the button bar. To access the Person view, double-click on a person's facial image in Named view only. |
